CreatorsNear hosts no user uploads. The only media we display are reduced-size copies of public avatars and header images, shown for identification of a listing. If you own an image shown here and want it removed, tell us and it is gone within 24 hours; most creators find the removal form faster than a formal notice.
Sending a notice
Send notices to [email protected] or through the form below. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) a valid notice includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL on this Site where the material appears.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
We remove or disable the material promptly, normally within 24 hours, and keep a record of the notice. Where the material is a creator's own avatar we treat the notice as a removal request for the whole listing unless you tell us otherwise. Repeat or bad-faith notices are logged.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the US, any district where the operator may be found). We forward it to the complainant and may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless they file an action.
Designated agent
A designated agent has not yet been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office; the name and postal address will appear here once that is done. Notices sent to [email protected] are read by the operator and acted on within 24 hours.
